Make the most out of your money corner

Feng Shui LifeBy Bernard Scala

Feng Shui is an ancient interior design technique which has been used by the Chinese for thousands of years. It's more than just interior design, it's concerned with improving prosperity and the flow of energy throughout your home. Feng Shui is very concerned with the flow of energy, this energy is closely linked to water and wind. A number of elements must be present in your home to make sure that everyone inside your home is lucky and prosperous. There are specific areas of your home which are useful for different things, the bagua is a Chinese compass which is used to help you divide up your space.
The southeastern corner of your home is known as your prosperity corner, you should start by looking what you have in that area of your home at the moment. To make yourself more prosperous you need to add metal to the prosperity corner of your home.

Any metal object in that corner of the home will work, however there are some traditional Chinese items which can be used. Ancient Chinese coins with a square hole in the middle are particularly useful. These are even known as prosperity coins, these are very lucky and should be put in the southeast corner of your home. The luckiest use of these coins is to have three tied together with a red ribbon, this will still work even if you can't see the coins.

There may also be other reasons why you are not as prosperous as you would like, you should take a look around the other areas of your home to see where you are going wrong. If you have too much water around your house then this can cause your wealth to be washed away. If the balance of energy in a room is not right then this can cause problems.

There is also a laughing Buddha which is commonly known as the Buddha of wealth, he is normally seen holding money or sometimes a gold bar. Putting this statue in a visible place in your home can make a great difference to your home. You don't need to use a huge statue, you can also use a small statue for the same effect.

You can also add any other metal objects to your prosperity corner that you like. Using a metal wall hanging or ornament can work well at improving prosperity. If you work in the corner then you could add a metal lamp. Anything metal is great, even functional items. However make sure that the metal object has rounded edges, as points can be bad.

Ancient Chinese ships are a symbol of wealth. You could get a model of one of these and put it in your prosperity corner or near to your front door to attract wealth. A metal ship would be beneficial, and it should be positioned so that it is pointing in towards the room rather than away. Put gold coins in the ship to represent wealth coming into your life.
