Feng Shui tips for your
bedroom

In Feng Shui, it is
believed that all things are made up of energy, whether good
or bad. Feng Shui aims to achieve the flow of Chi, which is
known as the life force energy by means of placing furniture
and other objects in strategic and optimal positions.
When it comes to bedrooms,
an ideal feng shui bedroom should promote a good flow of
harmonious energy. It should be inviting, nourishing,
pleasurable, calming and soothing all the same. If you want
to Feng Shui your bedroom well, here are some tips that you
should follow. Your bed must have a headboard that should be
positioned against a solid wall and footboard that should
rise a few inches above the head of the mattress. Avoid
slats.
Also, your mattress should
not be placed on the floor. This is because the Chi energy,
which is responsible for bringing good health, may not be
able to circulate around your bedroom and may lead to
sickness instead. Make sure that you can see the door when
sitting up in your bed but it must not be straight right in
front of it.
Avoid live plants in your
bedroom as well as mirrors, even closets that have mirrors
in it. Keep your bedroom clear of television and computer
sets or any kind of exercise equipment as these can destroy
feng shui energy. Master bathrooms must have doors and it
should be closed at all times.
Choose photographs and
other images well, as these can also carry feng shui energy.
Choose pictures that you would like to experience or happen
in you life. Moreover, photographs that should be in your
bedroom should only be from those who sleep there.
If you have windows in your
bedroom, open them as often as possible or use an air
purifier to maintain fresh air. It is believed that the
quality of the air has an effect when you feng shui your
bedroom. If the air that you breathe in your bedroom is
stale or unpleasant, it may lead to unfavorable things.
Again, remember that the presence of plants in your bedroom
are not advisable and should be placed far from your bed.
In addition, to achieve
good and balanced feng shui in your bedroom, use soothing
shades. Usually, colors that are closest to your skin
complexion are considered as the best feng shui shades for
your bedroom. This promotes optimal flow of energy needed
for restorative sleep and sexual healing as well.
