Feng Shui Art and Reading
Tips

I am always interested in
two things when entering another's home. Firstly the art on
their walls and secondly the books that they have on
display. The art on the wall can be a pointer to our
attitude the to others For instance if you see landscapes
peaceful and beautiful but no people or animals you do get a
little insight into the personality who placed them there.
They are generally people who prefer there own company and
they can be inclined to be introverted.
On the other hand if you see paintings or prints on the wall
that are full of people and partying or human activity, like
the famous Renoir canvas of a party boat full of young
people in interaction and full of energy, that too gives you
some insight into the person.
Feng Shui is an ancient of the law of attraction. What you
do in your home is always attracting what you subconsciously
want or think your want. So if you are surrounding yourself
with art which is pleasant but isolated and lonely without
people life then you have unknowingly sent out signals that
this is what your want. You may want more love in your life
and deeper relationships well then choose art which
illustrates this.
For love and relationships let people art be the dominant
statement on the walls of your house. If you want wealth
then have money pictures hanging on your walls. This is not
to suggest you have a picture of banknotes on your wall but
rather to have pictures of opulence and rich life if you
want company and rich relationships then choose paintings
that illustrate this style such as a castle or Ocean liner
or some famous site in the world.
The power of water to attract fortune in Feng Shui can be
related to your choice of prints Why not choose a beautiful
waterfall artwork piece on your wall. So just have a think
about what is on your wall and is it attracting what your
want and then make a few changes then see how subtle changes
will begin to take place in your life.
About libraries or books on
display in your home. There can be some deceptions here for
some of us put books on display that are designed to impress
and not to be read. However if your books are truly the
books that you love and read and you have them on display in
your living areas then take note of what these books are
about they will tell you what you are attracting. Like
prints and paintings they draw into your home energy or
block energy.
Books about violent crimes and awful events are particularly
not good to have on display. They bring a negative energy
with them and are symbolic of violence. This is not about
one or two books it is about a shelf lined with them. These
may seem trivial things but they add up and Feng Shui is
about removing the blocks to the universal energy called
'Chi'. This energy when flowing in balance and harmony with
the home attract all the benefits of luck, wealth, health
and relationships
Most of us have a mix of paintings and books however it is
valuable to ask yourself the question. What dominates? What
is the emphasis of my collectables and reading? This can
tell you what you attract and if you choose you can create a
new and different energy flow to attract what you really
want.
